Our History at Simcoe Honda
Simcoe Honda has a long history serving both Simcoe and the Norfolk County region with all of their Honda needs. Established in 1982, we’re at almost 40 years of providing exceptional service and sales for those looking to maintain their vehicle, or shop for a new one. In fact, our original Honda offerings were a lot different than they are now. We first started out selling motorcycles and power equipment, as another one of Honda’s focuses outside of automotives, but we eventually branched into auto sales like you know of us now. Today, we’re solely focused on the automotive side, centred on ensuring we can satisfy every vehicle need, across your ownership experience.
Our Simcoe Honda dealership is owned by the Demeyere family, and has been since December 2019. The Demeyere family has roots in the automotive industry extending all the way back to 1957, starting with Demeyere Motors. The dealership grew and grew throughout the 60s and 70s, with an honest and respectful business approach and exceptional customer service driving its success. The Demeyere family believes these are the core pillars of running a successful small-town dealership, one that ties itself intrinsically to the community around it, and is representative of the hard-working people who make up the area. A proud member of the community, Simcoe Honda is involved with a variety of organizations and support groups. Throughout Norfolk County, these include, but are not limited to, minor hockey, baseball and soccer programs, the Simcoe Curling Club, theatre programs, the Local Lion’s clubs, Norfolk Community Foundation and Norfolk General Hospital.
At Simcoe Honda, we’re all about customer satisfaction. Through every department at our dealership, from sales to service to parts to financing, we value ensuring each and every customer that comes through our doors is satisfied with the experience. We believe this is the best way to run our business, putting the customer’s satisfaction as priority #1, in every aspect of our dealership.
Your safety comes first at Simcoe Honda, and during these difficult times we want to make sure you feel safe and secure when buying or servicing your vehicle. We’ve implemented enhanced safety procedures and cleaning measures to ensure that our dealership is a healthy environment for both our customers and staff. From cleaning common and high-contact surfaces, to disinfecting yours and our vehicles, to adhering to physical distinacing guidelines through limited staff, and bolstering our online and distanced business dealings, everything we do is in support of everyone’s safety who comes through the dealership. We always put the customer first, but during the COVID-19 pandemic this has been especially so, where we’re committed to take every measure we can to help limit exposure and spread, while still offering a safe and healthy place for you to get something as essential as your car serviced, or purchasing a new or used model that you’re in need of.
If you have any questions about your health and safety at our dealership, and the precautions we are taking to make sure you have a safe visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
